What is SBS 2003?  

SBS 2003 stands for Small Business Server 2003.  SBS 2003 is aimed squarely at companies with 75 computers or less.  Microsoft has put together an inexpensive server solution to meet the network needs of small businesses that require enterprise features at a small business price.  SBS 2003 is comprised of:

• Server 2003  (server operating system)
• Exchange 2003 (email)
• Remote Management so you don't have to wait for a tech to show up!
• User level data restores (no backup tapes restores here!)
• Webmail
• SharePoint Services (web based document management)
• Fax Services
• Firewall Services (requires two network cards)
• Remote Desktop Services
• VPN connectivity
• and much, much more!
